Spirit and  Patsy, his Haflinger babysitter. Spirit's Mother, Daphne had to be euthanized on April 30, 2009. She suffered an injury during foaling, and was not able to recover. She was a sweet pony evidently bred to a full size horse and was able to give Spirit his start, but not stay with him. Ms Patsy has taught him how to behave and being hand raised by one of our dedicated volunteers has made him very friendly and easy to handle.
